Pros

High expectations, exceptional service provided to clientele, competitive salary, job training, health/vision/dental benefits for full time employees, education reimbursement programs.

Cons

Lack of mentorship/leadership resulting in discrepancies in service provisions, distant/cold relations with lower level employees, unfair discharge practices, inconsistent work hours.

Pros

There are a lot of nice people that work here other then management who do treat disposable. You do get benefits but the insurance they offer don't cover much. You will see a change in clients life and if you are seeking a career in Psychology the experience they offer is good.

Cons

The employees are undervalued and over worked. You are encouraged to spend a great deal of unpaid time working and given little support when there's a decrease in hours or cancellations. During which they give you a myriad of reasons not to pay for your time. There's virtually no protection against over zealous parents and undermine your efforts.

Pros

You will definitely make a change in the life of a child and his/her family. The agency really cares about its employees and will work with you to ensure you have a balance of life and work. Very flexible.

Cons

As with most of these jobs, the pay is low and schedule changes affect financial stability. The hours change due to families relocating, insurance coverage changes, ill children, or even summer schedules.
