Pros

Small organization, good people that care about helping the elderly and adults with disabilities.

Cons

Heath insurance benefits are not great and very expensive. IT is a major barrier to getting anything accomplished. They make system decisions without involving the key stakeholders or user groups, resulting in little to no enhancements or true upgrades. Little integration, resulting in double work in different systems for internal and external users. High turnover among newer IT staff. Must use your own equipment when working remotely. Organization can't figure out how its handling remote/hybrid work, so constant mixed messages about returning to the office.

Pros

Helpful staff, staff have been willing to assist me to learn my position and work with me. Staff and management have been friendly. Benefits are within the industry norm and a bonus reward has been generous. I would recommend joining the organization and have told many friends and past co-workers about how much I enjoy the position.

Cons

The complexity of the software and many different programs to research and enter information has been confusing at times. I am grateful for my background but still get confused at times.
