I had high hopes this company would improve our situation
Pros
good vacation time, salary is reasonable, benefits are better than a lot of places, positive culture and value statements, positive mission statement. I really feel that this could be a great place to work if there were different people in local management.
Cons
too many bosses who don't know what they are doing. company thinks they own the providers, preach about compliance and quality service but treat employees very badly. The company's written values and mission statements are right on, it's just too bad no one follows them. I have seen the term "enslavement" posted by other people about this company and I have to agree. Low level managers are constantly reminding providers (doctors, PAs and NPs) that they can be fired just because. There is a culture of beat them down and keep them there. All the good nurses are leaving for better working conditions elsewhere.
