Pros

Most of the physicians and nurses are good people and are trying to make a difference taking care of patients as best they can in a stripped-down environment.

Cons

Pay is lower than state, regional, and national medians. Non-physician corporate structure dictates ALL decisions. Hospital systems acquired by CHS are all poorly operated. The corporation is in serious financial trouble and probably won’t last much longer.

Meet new people and interact with patients. Working to keep patients happy and getting them healthy is the number one goal for all medical staff.

Cons

Watching as dedicated works are let go but the suits never have to worry about their jobs.

Benefits. Fitness Center next door as perk. Animal turkeys to employees and birthday bash. Daisy awards for outstanding employees.

Cons

Very old and moldy. Should have been torn down and rebuild years ago. They continue to hire people who've been fired elsewhere for good reasons. Keeping staff that's non functional or rude. Frequent by outs. Uncertain future. Very poor population generally.
