It is very rare to get a significant raise at CHS no matter how hard you work or the projects you are involved.

Lower level management and Directors are terrified of the C level. Salaries are low and their are no bonuses or compensation for completing business objectives. Salary levels are defended in meetings as being in line with average field salaries. This is achieved by using basic titles such as "Systems Analyst" or Security Engineer". Since these are very generic titles compared to your job functions it allows CHS to compete on paper.
