Pros

Compensation is average, benefits are average. If you are looking for a place to go to work, do your job, and go home, this company might be for you.

Cons

This company is the 5th company I have worked for in my 25 years at my local hospital and is by far the worst as far as being employee friendly. They treat employees like idiots who cannot think for themselves, the old "my way or the highway" even if their way is wrong. They micro manage and are in over their heads, and cannot keep up with the facilities they own. Might be okay in rural settings but not in larger communities. As a retired RN/System Analyst, I work part time because I enjoy the work and my co-workers. If I were younger and looking for a full time job I would look elsewhere.

Pros

I have been with CHS for quite some time now. About 13 years. It's a great company that cares about its patients. They offer excellent benefits such as sick leave separate from Vacation time. Something we don't often see anymore. From my experience, they have done a great job fostering goals to grow and improve employees that wish to be promoted by the company.

Cons

The pay has mostly stayed the same with the inflation, and people who work much harder jobs are getting paid less than people who work in fast food and have no education. This creates a turnover, so the company is losing good analysts to other companies that have increased employee pay. Also, employees are paid at a different rate than other employees. For example, a transfer from a facility with a lower cost of living within the nation is paid less than an employee hired from outside the company.

Pros

Flexible 40 hours shift Monday thru Friday at 1st could make up time if didn't want to use vacation or sick time in that department and depends on manager. At 1st had huge company Christmas parties for whole company in Nashville area

Cons

A sense company going under. No job security for long. Layoffs are happening left and right. Management are deceitful and not honest, they will lobby for other people's jobs and lie on you to protect themselves especially if you make too much. I honestly heard bad things before in took that job but know everyone's experience is their own and a few maybe jaded but I never expected to see it happening across the company let alone me.
