      Pros

      Working in health care and the day to day reward of serving others

      Cons

      A corporate-heavy, controlling environment where corporate pressures regional hospitals for higher and higher profits; utilizing tactics such as reduced-hour work weeks (with no reduction in actual work) - i.e. essentially pay cuts - while corporate execs take home million dollar bonuses.

      Pros

      From what i know the health benefits were pretty ok and some of the enployees were ok.

      Cons

      Dont train people properly and management cant answer questions that they should know. The pay does not match the work.

      -Free use of hospital facilities, you aren't billed for things like lab work or MRIs -Good place to gain experience

      Cons

      -Pay usually is not up to average market value -Company ignores industry standards -Aging equipment and infrastructure, no plans to update -Decisions often made at a high level with no input from those working 'where the rubber meets the road' -Most facilities run by a productivity spreadsheet, no thought given to market/community -Annual pay increases always around 1%, no chance for advancement
