Pros

Depending on the department the people can be very fun to work with. Plenty of opportunity to move about within the company/departments to expand your skills.

Cons

If you start at a low salary it is hard to get paid what you are worth as all in-house promotions can only be 10% max every 6-12 months with no guarantee of the max.

Someone took a chance on hiring me. I didn't have experience, but my hard work ethic and determination to roll up my sleeves and learn something new is why my employer hired me in addition to being highly recommended.

Cons

If you aren't a person that doesn't like to do a lot of work and research on your own to figure things out, this may not be the place for you.
