-Free use of hospital facilities, you aren't billed for things like lab work or MRIs -Good place to gain experience

Cons

-Pay usually is not up to average market value -Company ignores industry standards -Aging equipment and infrastructure, no plans to update -Decisions often made at a high level with no input from those working 'where the rubber meets the road' -Most facilities run by a productivity spreadsheet, no thought given to market/community -Annual pay increases always around 1%, no chance for advancement

met some great people some I now consider friends

Cons

Terrible management. VPs and CEOs made terrible business deals then cut some lower level employees pay by 1/3 in order to make up for their loss. Easy to flub numbers to make favorite people and friends look good while cheating the other employees.

Good coworkers, flexible and understanding bosses, business casual dress code, big company, lots of business growth and acquisitions.

Cons

Lack of strategic management. Lack of professional development or growth opportunities, especially for nonclinical staff. Lack of reward/raises/recognition/appreciation. Lack of meaningful work. Kind of a slow, dinosaur company, struggling to get up to speed with the times. Bureaucratic.
