How can you treat employees like this?

Pros

There is an office building. You get to work in it. It has heat and air conditioning.

Cons

Where can you start with this outfit? How about ZERO career development? More work, no raise. Yet you may be lucky and get a "title change," which to CHS' overpaid C-staff is the same as being able to afford your bills. The CEO has a Company private jet which carts him back and forth to Kentucky each weekend. The Staff pays for this. Probably why the Staff gets no merit raise and 1.5% annual raise. Where Wayne Smith and the other Executives rake in Millions. Employees emailed constantly to fill out a survey and to vote form work (AND HOME) so CEO is rated best man in health care (ridiculous). Poor and expensive health insurance plan. Dress code is from the 1940s and horrible and expensive to maintain on such low salary CHS provides.

Pros

There is not one reason to work here. If I had to choose "something" it would be that you recognize any other job you will ever take will be better than Community Health Systems.

Cons

Lack of transparency in salary scale. Max raise when taking a new positive is 7%. CEO and CFO take in millions and reap huge bonuses while staff gets nothing. Culture is absolutely horrible and is filled with backstabbing and terrible behavior where people run and hide. Dress code is ridiculous. It is not even affordable on the salary that CHS provides.

Pros

No Career Development. No Merit Raise. Anonymous and opaque compensation levels. Do not expect more than an annual 1.5% 'cola' raise. No merit raise, ever. C-Level staff routinely grants themselves annual salary bumps of over 10%.

Cons

Worst Company to work for in Nashville. This Company has a reputation for poor employee morale, extremely cheap, difficult to do business with and for the poor way they treat Staff. The executive management routinely receives massive levels of compensation while employees receive nothing. There is Zero career development and the turnover rate of the Company is 50%. Nobody stays because the only people who get paid are the CEO and other executives.
