      Current local hospital in Hobbs, NM SUCKS!

      Pros

      They helped pay some relocation expenses.

      Cons

      Horrible, uncaring hospital administration. Expect nurses to spend more time doing computer and paperwork instead of supporting them with help to do PATIENT care. I've been a nurse for 32+ years and this isthe WORST place I've ever worked. I can't WAIT to finish my 2 year requirement (in order not to have to pay them back for relocation expenses). No wonder there is such a high turn around of staff in all positions -- not just nursing staff.

      Pros

      It's great to work in the rural hospital setting, the staff that I work with is a close group, we work hard, and have fun. It is a fast paced environment.com

      Cons

      Being a registered nurse along the wasatch front is challenging, the market is saturated, the compensation is low.
