The shift differential is generous, competitive salaries if you have experience.

Cons

The administration is very concerned with the bottom line. Unsafe staffing ratios to compensate for revenue. High turnover rate for nurses. Do not have yearly raises as the day they do, do not offer opportunities for growth.

- Laid back atmosphere - Good mobility - Hands-off management (for the most part) - Company is willing to pay you to train for your next job

Cons

- Pay is far below market value, especially if you get promoted. You will get, at max, a 6% increase, regardless of what the position would pay if you were hired from outside. - Pay is low - Did I mention the pay? - Because pay is low, it is hard to get quality employees - Because it is hard to get quality employees, there is more work than people to do it. - A few managers read too many "How to be a leader" books
