      Difficult, At Best

      Pros

      Decent health benefits (although they could have been better since it's a health care company)

      Cons

      Too much work, not enough support. The corporate structure works in silos which creates duplication of effort and and endless stream of requirements while they keep staff at a minimum. There is no support. You can never work hard enough and will never satisfy the requirements.

      Great parking at the data center and corporate office.

      Cons

      Current CIO and CTO often compare the organization to its largest competitor in the Nashville market foolishly suggesting that CHS' LACK OF of standardized processes, standards and IT talent are superior to the Nations largest, most innovative, financially sound healthcare management organization. Company will never secure and retain quality IS resources until it (1) improves morale (2) leads with integrity and (3) implements/utilizes proven standardized processes, frameworks, etc.
