Pros
Most of the physicians and nurses are good people and are trying to make a difference taking care of patients as best they can in a stripped-down environment.
Cons
Pay is lower than state, regional, and national medians. Non-physician corporate structure dictates ALL decisions. Hospital systems acquired by CHS are all poorly operated. The corporation is in serious financial trouble and probably won’t last much longer.
