Pros

You get a vehicle to take home.

Cons

-The company is very disorganized, there is lack of upper management support. -They expect you to be available for your employees from 6am-10:30pm. -If a person is out, they expect you to cover for them if you can't find someone to cover their shift. -When you take vacation, they expect you to work on your vacation days. No one will cover for you. -You are required to do physical labor during the summer, which they don't tell you in your interview. -There is no process for anything. You have to figure things out on your own. For example, there aren't any onboarding processes. So when you hire someone, you are basically guessing on what they need to know. -If you are bilingual, you do not get paid more, and they will take advantage of you by asking you to translate documents, help translate to people who do not speak English, etc. This adds extra work to your day-to-day duties because now you are helping other people. If you are bilingual, don't tell them you are. -This is not an 8 hour job. It's more of a 10-12 hour job. Sometimes you have to work on weekends. -If they do a safety audit on things you were not trained on, you are still responsible for it (lack of training and no processes). -Work culture is poor. You will notice that bad workers get away with many things, while good workers are not rewarded. This is frustrating! -Good employees are taken advantage of and they will ask those workers to do more than they have to because the bad workers are not doing what they are supposed to. -This job is mentally draining and exhausting and it doesn't help that you don't get compensated for it. The salary does not align with the job. - Upper management demands a lot. Even if you do what they ask, they don't check to see if you actually did it. This is why so many people get away with not doing anything! Might as well not do what they say. They don't care. -If another manager is slacking or doesn't know how to do something, they will ask you to do their job for them. Instead of training those individuals, they will add more work to you because they know you are knowledgeable. -If you request something from upper management, they ignore you or make you wait weeks before answering back to you. You have to constantly be "nagging" them until they listen. -The job description for this job is very inaccurate and they won't tell you all the details that the job requires. They sugar coat it and they make it seem like it's the best job ever. -Company does not care about you. They are very unprofessional. -There's many more cons...

Pros

Autonomy to do your job, great culture, good pay, challenging work, very smart, fun, wonderful people (mostly!) :)

Cons

Workload expectations are at times quite lofty, however, this can usually be rectified and brought back down to Earth if you advocate for yourself and ensure management is fully aware.
