company doesnt care about employees, unpaid online training (8 hours), ridiculous policies that contradict one another (sustainability vs taking food that would be wasted)

Low Pay Have to remind the manager for a raise Can be moved to different locations Beware of burnout due to hours Last resort job. I recommend trying a' la carte over banquet

-Decent benefits for the field -Rewarding

Cons

-Requires very strong mental fortitude -Constantly understaffed and reliant on temp agencies for labor -Highest turnover of both employees AND management I've ever seen -Punished for showing up to work because it's normal for people to call out or not show up every other day. These people are rarely punished and get to keep their jobs and the people who reliably show up are stuck doing the work of 2-3 people -Walking 5-10 miles a day; feet always in severe pain; constantly being bothered for things -No work-life balance because you're basically on-call despite not being salaried. No one shows up to work and you're expected to answer your phone and fill in 7 days a week. I, personally, was always in so much physical pain that after work I was too tired to do anything. -They're desperate for employees so they hire anybody, even criminals. Be prepared for one of the most toxic work environments you've ever seen
