Pros

Decent pay and benefits, great parties and some of the smartest and friendliest staff.

Cons

Incompetent managers, favoritism at an all time high, lack of structure, imbalance in workload (so much work), cult like company culture (very strange), pace and budget limit project success, leadership has no ownership, expanding fast without solving the issues, no room for design creativity, they just want inexperienced flyer pushers with never ending deadlines. If your a designer or in marketing I would stay away from this place.

Pros

The people you work with will be the best in the industry. Unlimited sick time 15 days PTO

Cons

You will prepare for review cycle, hit all your marks and still not get a merit increase, you won't get a bonus and you won't get a promotion. You will get more work, which you'll never finish in a day. You'll be encouraged to "keep doing your best work" but it'll never be enough. There is no transparency to policy changes that have been made without it being communicated company-wide. (They will apologize tirelessly but make no changes) You will not have an option for equity because of "legal reasons." HR is a team of 3-4 for the entire company. There is no HR infrastructure which means everything is done by hand. There will be companies being acquired in order to reach a very ambitious goal of having a substantial presence in the market, but those companies will never actually be "organic Compass." There will be C level folks hired to make Compass profitable (which means, you'll more than likely not get a raise once the next cycle comes back around) They will not answer any of your concerns clearly, its always covered in fluff and sparkles. They want to IPO in 12-18 months but have told agent's that they don't so...who knows. But, at least there are free snacks* and a Bevi machine to make it all worth it at the end of the day. (jk, they've cut the snack budget too)

Pros

Good pay, nice coworkers, unlimited sick time, lots of vacation, free healthcare

Cons

Regional model, meaning it feels like you work for a very small company. They sometimes will just change things without transparency as to how or why. Your managers may not work in the same region as you, don't see your day-to-day but are your only report. You often are not managed by someone who has done your job (Design reports to Marketing Director, no design leadership). HEAVY workload. Uninteresting projects.
