Comprehend Systems reviews

As an engineer, our product has quite a wide tech stack so there is a lot of good learning opportunities that you can jump into by spending some time in any given area of the product. There has been a lot of growth in the company lately and from the time I've worked here, there's probably no better time to jump on board than right now. The product is a great fit for the market, and in our domain is still quite young. I see a good amount of room for growth in the expansion of the product. Achieving a good work life / personal life balance is quite obtainable here. There is the occasional crunch, but management has been very fair about allowing time off for recovery days if needing to work a weekend, or if needed for personal/family reasons. We have an unlimited vacation day policy here, and I have had no issues with the system at all, just use common sense. All in all, management has been quite good lately and is very fair. Great group of people work here, they're great to both work with and also have fun / hang out with. Company culture is great and I feel like we're all treated fairly and respectfully.

Working at Comprehend has given me the opportunity to expand my technical skillset beyond what I could have achieved at previous companies. Management is great about encouraging employees to seek out projects that they are interested in and to become involved. They are constantly evaluating and implementing new technology which makes the work interesting and fun. It is realistic to maintain a reasonable work/life balance working at Comprehend. Management and company policies are very flexible in terms of working hours, travel, time off, working from home, etc. Working at a startup like Comprehend is an exciting, faced-paced environment. You learn a ton and gain exposure to aspects of running a company that you might not get elsewhere.
