      The people were the best

      Pros

      The people were one of the best parts about working here. I’m still good friends with most of my coworkers and even a good number of the management team. Overall, I’d say I had a good experience at CompuNet and I don’t regret the time I gave to the company.

      Cons

      I didn’t feel like there was enough room for me to grow, at least not in the capacity I wanted to or in the direction that I saw my career going in the long-term.

      Great environment to work, without the stress of being in-hospital

      Cons

      Since this is a reference laboratory, the pay is significantly less than other med tech positions that are in-hospital.

      CompuNet provides a more than market competitive wage rate. There are ranges and levels. Employees with high levels of experience are paid accordingly and enjoy excellent pay and benefits. Med Techs at CompuNet can work at the Core Lab or In-hospital to gain experience and work in different environments. Being a Reference Laboratory means CompuNet is a highly capable laboratory with a wide range of testing expertise.

      Most positions don't consider experience, so those who have been in the field with years of experience may not be compensated as much

      Related experience is always considered when starting new employees. They are compensated accordingly. We welcome outside employees with experience and will compensate them based on their experience and equity in the organization.
