The work provided for a "Developer" position requiring a Computer Engineering or Computer Science education does not match the requirement. Much of the work revolves around configuration of an existing proprietary framework with a focus on avoiding as much custom coding as possible.
Development is often managed by staff with long tenure and deep set habits that do not keep up with current practices across industry, and often involves overworking staff to meet unrealistic deadlines.
Promotions are locked behind arbitrary checklists that do not align with similar position requirements in industry, and do not reflect the value an individual brings to the company.
