Pros

Opportunity to work from home in certain instances. Basically bankers hours from Eight to Five. Great and professional Physical Therapy departments.

Cons

Management will tell you one thing and then do the opposite. They claim that the Sales department is their "lifeblood" yet TREAT them like the bottom of the barrel. They are constantly changing the comussion structure, sometimes mid stream, making it more difficult to achieve any real money. You don't have to take my word for it...the high employee turnover says it all. There are TOP performers quitting due to their paychecks getting continually smaller DESPITE huge sales numbers being put up. You have to justify your sales or you will not get the monies due. Thanks to John deLormier for this...putting company first and "lifeblood" LAST!

Pros

It's a job. Five words.

Cons

After my company was acquired by Concentra we were given fluffy job titles that sound important but aren't. They brag about their chain of command and nationwide acquisitions like it's something to be proud of but they are like McDonald's or Starbucks in my opinion. They run every clinic short staffed as a way to save on their bottom line which is all that really matters, meanwhile we have two hour wait times so the patients are fed up and the staff is stressed out. This appears to be a driving policy though from reading other reviews. There's so much paperwork and buttons to push that more time is spent checking boxes than with patients. I've been looking for a new job so hopefully my nightmare will end soon.

Pros

No weekend work........ Nothing else...nothing else... Nothing else, nothing else, nothing, nothing, nothing, else, nothing else, nothing else to say to fill the word minimum.

Cons

Narcissistic, insecure , liars of therapists , afraid someone will take their positions so they makeup stories so the new person looks bad. Selfish in training and will train with very limited information. Don't give a dam about patients at all and they have no empathy for patients. They think majority patients are lying about their pain. They don't want the Therapy department to grow because they are insecure about new people and losing their positions. Disgusting atmosphere and patients dislike them. Therapists telling doctors how to treat patients and if doctors don't do what they say, they rat them out to upper directors. And out of fear, they do as the therapists say. This needs to stop. If they want to be doctors go to school and get an MD degree .
