Pros

High pay for recent grads-low base but high quarterly commission Flexibility to work from home- even though your manager will call you every 5 minutes to check up on you

Cons

Highly micro managed- your manager is directed to "coach" you but in reality that means- ride along with you on meetings or watch you make calls and then listen to them tell you about all the things you did wrong and how you can improve. Terrible way to manage and motivate employees Cookie cutter approach- cant be creative in the way you sell at all.. They legitimately give you scripts to read off of on the phone and books to read off of in meetings- its terrible and scares clients away No work life balance- long hours preparing for meetings with managers/clients or doing reports for them Upper management doesn't have any trust in their employees. They will always question where you were, what you were doing, who you were with, ect. Too many management layers- need to get rid of middle layer

Pros

My co-workers, but most have left the company.

Cons

Since the acquisition by Humana and departure of CEO and many other C-level/senior executives in 2012, the company is left with a B-Team and C-Team leadership. All the way from the President to the corrupt HR department. Once a company with a strong culture and a good place to work, is now a company that has poor leadership, low morale, finger-pointing, blaming, no respect or care for the colleagues. Colleagues in HR left because they could not stomach the corruption and fiscal irresponsibility. Medical center personnel is over-worked and under-paid. The IT department is a huge mess and the turn-over is proof of poor leadership and direction. All the good people have left.

Pros

MA's, Docs at the clinic are great. Regional Medical Directors and Physicians are awesome. Best part are the physicians

Cons

Area Ops Directors don't support staff. State that they will do one thing/ they do something else. They have many outstanding staff that did not get paid shift diff for nights and evenings. Didn't communicate this was happening. Terrible communication. If you don't get along with the ops click even if you are doing your role and uncovering issues for the betterment of the company; they will tell you that "you are not transparent, that you are not doing your job or truthful." The truth is if you are truly talented and want a progressive career and don't talk like a "valley-girl"; you won't go far in this company in the Cinci Oh midstates area.
