Pros

Casual dress, shifts can be flexible, offers lots of free food. It is alright if you can't find a job and need money. However after working here for a bit I highly suggest searching for a new job after starting here.

Cons

There is no HR. IT is nonexistent in the night shifts. On top of that they lose paperwork the second you sign something. Don't expect to get the right pay either. Night shift is suppose to have "incentive" by getting an extra dollar an hour but with a handful of employees there was constant problems with payroll and to get anything corrected they had to go to top management, which is a joke. No one here is professional. Only two people seem to actually care about anything. It has a very "high school" like mentality, careful walking the floor because you might step on a social landmine. On top of that there is favoritism, its okay for some employees to do this or that, but others can't. I am sure this favoritism passes onward for promotions etc. The site where the office is, is nasty. It is falling apart, rarely cleaned, it is dusty, and old. Getting a desk is like musical chairs because you never have a set desk it is "first come first serve". Don't expect any raises because what you start at is what you get to keep for your entire duration at this place, unless you're lucky to get promoted. Then they have a pay incentive for performance, which yet again is a joke. Calls are random. You can't control the flow of a call, if someone needs help they need help. Customer surveys heavily weigh on this performance incentive as well. But one negative survey counts against like ten positive ones. Essentially the pay for performance incentive is a gamble, if you're lucky and get easy calls, happy customers hooray! pay bonus. I wish the company who contracted these clowns would look at how it is operated. The majority of employees do not even enjoy the brand they work for because the company is such a joke.

Pros

Works from home- no commute. Even training is done in your home. Some of the staff are very pleasant to work with.

Cons

Pay is very low. The job isn't to hard, but considering the work you do, you are paid bottom end. The staff usually doesn't know what they are doing half the time, nor show compassion. I can say the new project I am training in is not bad. I worry about my Managers, because the last one with Turbo Tax was forced to rush a class so fast, they couldn't keep up and literally said they will not keep up with the questions. Not paying during certain activities, like taking a bathroom break, you are docked pay. I cannot control the times I need or have the urge to go to the restroom. Little things like that, look really bad for you. Pay is really low, compared to what you do, but it is how the company stands, so I can't complain to much there. The job is defiantly not organized.
