Everyone is very well connected in the media world and make great references and Condé Nast itself is a amazing resume builder.

Very closed door environment and competitive amongst books.

Content is king. CN believes in quality people, quality magazines and quality work in every area. The competition is high, and success is rewarded.

Cons

The publishing industry is going through upheaval in the move from print to digital, so the hours are long and hard, but I can't imagine a better company to invest in.
