Pros

Good benefits. Good pay. Great people to work with. Good intentions.

Cons

They preach i-Care yet they (management & CEOs) are hard pressed to follow it. They would rather give you pizza parties and Christmas parties then sufficient staffing on a regular basis. Understandably healthcare is a business, but they need to figure out a different way to meet the bottom line other than having their staff suffer on a daily basis.

My coworkers were THE best!

Sometimes logic and common sense were overwhelmed with the focus of being magnet certified. The belief that college degrees and certifications are what makes the best employees is not always true.

Self Scheduling, Average Benefits, Overtime Opportunities

Cons

Worst management I've ever seen. RNs and Paramedics do exactly the same job, however the RNs make 50-100% more. Units are overused for non emergency transport and staffing is always short.
