Confluent has unfortunately taken a turn for the worse - the culture is no longer there and different "strategic" decisions are made every week - Now it needs more services and "solutions" - But what you forget is that with a sales cycle of 7+ months you can't overturn everything at any time. Where do I start? Culture is toxic in region from the top down. Leadership across the board - APAC, ANZ and even RSD's bully reps to commit deals as revenue is so far below target. Micro managing everyone with mandatory training and check ins. Most of the good ones have left as they have seen the writing on the wall. Those that have vested all their options are praying that the stock price goes up. HR/People Partner teams are obvious about trying to bully and move people out. Have directly misrepresented information about people, the sales managers do nothing.
