      Pros

      - Fast growing & successful company -Executive team very engaged with employees -Lots of opportunity for growth -Comparable (or higher) pay than most other B2B tech companies -Big focus on work/life balance (not just something that is talked about, but genuinely something the company cares about and takes action to support)

      Really can't think of anything negative to say. It has been an overall great experience so far.

      - Confluent & Kafka is 10X; category-creating solution - You can say 'you worked with KSQL when it first came out' - You will call prospects (Startups & F500) and learn hands-on in your First Quarter - Your Sales Managers are receptive to questions, fun/fair, and well-balanced people - SDR team = family, and the 'farm team', and Sales Mgmt is big on developing them

      - College Grad or Early SaaS Rep: It may be hard to articulate the Confluent value proposition, but thats how rocket ships work. (FYI: Study, study, study before your interviews and especially on-site. Be passionate and articulate the large surface area we can sell our product to. Be curious!)

      Pay and benefits, Remote (work from home),

      Cons

      Csuite/ Management / Sales Leaders inconsistent and not on same page. Lacking short term and long term strategy. It was the most challenging uphill battle for every small thing. Leaders do NOT put the customer first which impacts customers and in the end the bottom line.
