Pros

Remote work makes it easy to have a personal life. Not often very busy. Great early RSUs although refresh grants get lower and lower every year.

Cons

All of the leaders who knew what they were doing or who had any vision for the company have left. Chief People Officer just left after company survey results came back. They are not good. Lots of in-fighting in teams and between teams. They just move problem managers to other teams and give them more reports. Leaders do not agree on priorities. People are getting burned out in short time because everything is a fire. Recognition is just a dangling carrot with no substance. There was vision when I started here. It went out the door with some great leaders in 2022.

Pros

- Great product. Best-in-class for what we aim to do. - Good pay and benefits (even though they're about to cut free food. The bonus structure more than makes up for it) - $30 to cover your cell phone, $30 to cover internet (it's little, but not all companies pay!) - Lots of amazing, smart, humble colleagues still (more on this below) - Great DEI programs - You can learn a lot, very quickly here if you put your mind to it.

Cons

- It's becoming very corporate. - Senior management can be completely clueless. Those who execute are not rewarded. You're rewarded for calling meetings, presenting, and having good "meeting presence" - Layoffs and budget cuts are the norm in this climate. But don't continue raising goals. - It's easy to burn out here - Naturally, people leave post-IPO. However, they're getting replaced with fancier titles who cost 2x, with less experience. WHY? - Your experience depends on your manager. Bad manager? No promos, raises, or bonuses for you, no matter what. - Far too many meetings (again, too corporate) - It's all about optics. Good speakers and presenters will be rewarded over hard workers and executors.

Pros

Remote first policy was very flexible and appreciated. Some genuinely good people Pay is competitive

Cons

Managers and senior leadership are out of touch with the reality of what it takes to do creative campaign work, disconnected from the process, and have no strategy. It’s firedrill after firedrill and burnout is the norm. Teams are short staffed, flat growth, and we’re expected to do more with less.
