Pros
The CAD engineers. The people that do the hard work on the floor.
Cons
As far as CAD goes it is absolutely not what they tell you it is. The salaries have continued to get lower and lower each year for new employees! It is a sweatshop essentially where the only thing that matters is numbers. Most people work at least 10 hours a day and those that essentially refuse and only work their 8 are made to feel guilty or are gradually pushed out. The lack of communication from upper management is appalling. Again their only interest is numbers and they track every last project or design you work on. Numbers and your efficiency are extremely important. i saw a huge number of people leave due to this very reason. There are no oppurtunities really to be promoted and if you work hard at your job your are rewarded by being kept in it. Time and time again people would voice their opinions and concerns with many of these areas but nothing was ever done. I would not recommend working here, they do not care about the CAD engineers, you are just a number to them and unless you want to work 10-12 hours a day and then some saturdays (without any extra pay or incentive) and work very hard for your well below average paycheck then i would avoid this company. There is a lot more that could be said but i will refrain here. This is for all the people that were mistreated whilst there, i saw it over and over. The way the CAD engineers are and were treated was appalling from where i stood and that partially goes to show why glass door shows a rating of 2.2 out of 5! This is not a job for engineers out of college this is for coops and people fresh out of high school, only because it does not require a degree at all. You do not need a degree to run automation 10-12 hours a day!
