Pros

- Lots of autonomy - Nice coworkers

Cons

-God-awful benefits. Health insurance cost for people with families are so high that you simply can't work here. -Not a lot of paid holidays, skimpy vacation and sick policies. When branded as a tech company, you need to be competitive in the market. -Non-technical managers that simply have no business managing technical people and technical projects. -Completely tone-deaf CEO that believes that telling people they are doing a good job and offering them a "challenge coin" for going above and beyond will motivate them while simultaneously paying terrible wages and sub-standard benefits as the company is in the black for millions and millions of dollars. -Open offices where people are packed in to tight spaces with little amenity. -Mass layoffs, jobs relocated overseas, and no opportunity for advancement.

Pros

The Congruex Team in general has strong leadership, good communication, and is an experienced and strong company geared toward growth in the communications industry. In particular, the way that they have managed the COVID19 crisis has been impressive. They quickly adapted to work-from-home strategies, while keeping the field projects (safely) in full swing. They have stayed in front of challenges and kept the lines of communication open, even with the field employees, which has made us feel secure. There are contests and incentives available which encourage both the individual and the team environment.

Cons

I do not have any cons at this time.

Pros

The IT department is a service-oriented department which allows our professionals to focus on customer service rather than deciding what a business unit does or does not "need." We've assembled a team of dedicated technology professionals who are genuine, eager and ambitious. Each team member owns a specialization and the processes associated with it while ensuring alignment with organizational goals and data security. Our team members are engaged and have skin in the game. Professional development is guaranteed if you're motivated. We avoid clock-punchers and seek problem-solvers with a sense of teamwork who take pride in putting their name on a finished product. We are cloud-first and we get to research, test and implement all the latest technologies. We have implemented the ITIL framework and we are maturing each week as we define inefficiencies, close gaps and develop new policy. Imagine you were handed the keys to a struggling enterprise IT department and you have a voice in restructuring based on industry standards, customer service and team preference; that's what we're doing here. IT leadership is hands-down the best professionals I've ever worked with and leads with the heart of a teacher. You will leave this team a stronger, more attractive professional candidate than when you joined. If this kind of challenge doesn't excite the mind, then Congruex Innovation Services isn't for you.

Cons

Some red tape here and there but nothing you wouldn't find at any other company with large budgets, large revenue and long term growth objectives.
