Pros
A lot of OT available, shift differential is good, shift options, remote work.
Cons
You’re basically on your own, no help from management. There’s no stability of who’s in charge and when. The equipment they send to customers are terrible which in turns make for difficult almost medically dangerous interactions. You get trained on the basic, so they can put you on the floor quick, but all the more detailed things are a figure it out, which is dangerous because there are other peoples lives possibly at stake. Also, having to know and keep up with all the equipment and troubleshooting is awful, even the leads don’t know. Not to mention the health insurance is far higher than any other company I’ve worked for, which is weird for a large company like this.
