This is a “partners first” organization where leadership consistently prioritizes their own interests over fairness or team development. Promotions are cosmetic—title changes without financial compensation—and there is no real meritocracy beyond individual commission structures.
Upper management often appears disengaged, unapproachable, and lacking in basic professionalism. It’s not uncommon for partners to walk past employees without so much as a greeting, and overall leadership seems largely absent or indifferent to day-to-day operations.
Favoritism is deeply embedded in the culture. Certain individuals are routinely given access to client accounts and candidate relationships, while others are left to navigate the role with little to no support. The system for rotating incoming job orders is inconsistently applied and often overridden to serve the preferences of the partner group.
There are also serious ethical concerns regarding how clients are acquired. In many cases, accounts are “flipped” from other teams without acknowledgment or transparency. Unlike standard agency practices, where client leads are fairly distributed through a structured rotation, leadership here often retains high-value accounts for themselves, openly bypassing the process and then misleading the team about the origins of those relationships.
Turnover is extremely high, with 40-50+ of departures annually. Many new hires are either fired or leave within months, typically after realizing that meaningful success is only possible for those with a pre-existing book of business or those favored by leadership. New employees may receive attention early on, but are quickly deprioritized in favor of the next “exciting new hire.”
The broader culture is toxic and unsupportive. Gaslighting, dishonesty, and manipulation are common. Leadership does not foster growth, transparency, or respect. Most decisions are made by an absentee owner, leaving the partners to act in their own self-interest rather than lead with integrity.
If you’re seeking a healthy, equitable, and empowering work environment, with ethical and honest leadership —this isn’t it.
