Pros

Super flexible hybrid work setup. Coworkers are great! Really competitive pay and aggressive commission plan. Internal systems are current and easy to use.

Cons

Leadership, leadership, leadership! Leaderships idea of a great April fools joke is to pretend a female employees filed a sexual harassment complaint and then prank to “fire” a male employee. The other members of executive leadership are gloried Account Executives who spent some money to own part of the company. Leadership participates in the office gossip and does nothing to improve culture. There’s no real leadership in Milwaukee or Madison, Chicago is the real focus of the org. Zero investment in training, they claim to only hire experienced people but then hire predominantly 0-6 month of experience individuals. With no training program and leadership to train them, they get stuck. TURNOVER is higher than most staffing firms and it’s not because of the market. Lack of professionalism all around.

Pros

Flexible work environment, and hybrid work policy.

Cons

This is a “partners first” organization where leadership consistently prioritizes their own interests over fairness or team development. Promotions are cosmetic—title changes without financial compensation—and there is no real meritocracy beyond individual commission structures. Upper management often appears disengaged, unapproachable, and lacking in basic professionalism. It’s not uncommon for partners to walk past employees without so much as a greeting, and overall leadership seems largely absent or indifferent to day-to-day operations. Favoritism is deeply embedded in the culture. Certain individuals are routinely given access to client accounts and candidate relationships, while others are left to navigate the role with little to no support. The system for rotating incoming job orders is inconsistently applied and often overridden to serve the preferences of the partner group. There are also serious ethical concerns regarding how clients are acquired. In many cases, accounts are “flipped” from other teams without acknowledgment or transparency. Unlike standard agency practices, where client leads are fairly distributed through a structured rotation, leadership here often retains high-value accounts for themselves, openly bypassing the process and then misleading the team about the origins of those relationships. Turnover is extremely high, with 40-50+ of departures annually. Many new hires are either fired or leave within months, typically after realizing that meaningful success is only possible for those with a pre-existing book of business or those favored by leadership. New employees may receive attention early on, but are quickly deprioritized in favor of the next “exciting new hire.” The broader culture is toxic and unsupportive. Gaslighting, dishonesty, and manipulation are common. Leadership does not foster growth, transparency, or respect. Most decisions are made by an absentee owner, leaving the partners to act in their own self-interest rather than lead with integrity. If you’re seeking a healthy, equitable, and empowering work environment, with ethical and honest leadership —this isn’t it.

Thank you for taking the time to share your perspective. While we’re disappointed to hear that your experience at our company was not a positive one, we appreciate the candid feedback. We acknowledge that no organization is perfect, and that culture is something that must be continuously nurtured and evaluated. Your concerns around fairness, leadership accessibility, and employee support are serious, and we are committed to reflecting on them internally. We strive to create a work environment that balances flexibility with performance, and that rewards contribution, collaboration, and integrity. If aspects of our culture or processes have fallen short of that goal, we want to do better. We also recognize that turnover and inconsistent experiences can erode trust. This feedback reinforces how important it is for leadership to stay visible, engaged, and accountable—and we’re taking steps to improve in those areas. We understand that not all feedback comes in a format that’s easy to hear, but that doesn’t mean it lacks value. We are grateful to every team member, past and present, who has contributed to our journey. Thank you again for your honesty, and we wish you all the best in your future endeavors.
