Pros

Good managers - no micromanagement. Interesting work. Really nice and helpful coworkers.

Cons

Lack of career growth. Travel policies are outdated and need to change to reflect current prices.

We suggest you get with your manager or HR to discuss your career interests and career path. We are not sure what you mean by an outdated travel policy but will review this for competitiveness.

Pros

Softmart offers opportunity to everyone that is willing to work hard. If you are looking to expand the breadth of your IT knowledge and grow a career this is the place. The management is open to hearing suggestions and using those ideas that fit the company model to grow. Cooperative team environment.

Cons

None that I can really think of.

People leave managers, not companies.

Pros

This company has decent benefits and overall a good culture. The only reason I stayed with the company as long as I did was because of my customers and my coworkers, NOT including any management. Interview process was thorough and timely. HOWEVER, this is a case by case basis.

Cons

POOR management. Everything is great here until you need to ask for help. While the sales training team was wonderful, they cannot hold your hand every minute of the day. new hires still need guidance and support from their managers at times, things that were non existent from my manager. HR was completely useless, a bunch of children who don't understand a thing about employee/employer relations or conflict resolution.
