Pros

You can really earn a lot of money in sales. Pretty good name recognition. Good culture.

Cons

We implemented a new ERP system in 2020 and it has been an absolute nightmare. We do not even know if our pay is correct. Slow to adopt work from home even after Covid! Favoritism with work from home privileges. Horrible CEO who should have resigned after fumbling the new ERP rollout. Commissions are not being tracked correctly and we got overpaid and they are making us pay it back! And we do not even have visibility to the data to confirm it's correct. We have no confidence we are being paid correctly.

Pros

Getting a manager who shows transparency and cares about you, providing the support you need to succeed in your role, makes the difference and counts a lot. At this point that I have made 3 months, I would say that Connection has many opportunities, and if you see yourself as a passionate person about IT, Cloud technologies, and lifelong learning, this is the right place for you. Also, Connection provides good benefits to employees.

Cons

The communication between areas needs some improvements.

Pros

- The partner company I worked alongside for my vertical was great to work with - My manager was friendly

Cons

- Communication from my management to direct reports was inconsistent and rare at best - Managers you did not report to have the power to make your experience at Connection very unenjoyable - Despite growing my business unit a substantial amount over quota I was not paid what I was owed when they let me go - Offices are very outdated and make you feel like you're in the 90s - Micro-managing and required you to clock in like a retail employee for an professional IT sales job - Senior management force non-revenue driving activities to be paid by partner vendors regardless of actual value to growing pipeline/opportunities - Open door policy is a joke, there's no sense of confidentiality or trust
