Pros

Dedicated cafeteria space, 12 month training process, networking with vendors

Cons

Territories are a little picked over and you are stuck with your assigned territories 99% of the time, can't go after public sector clients and you find sometimes you end up treading on other AM's toes due to the wonky CRM

From ample networking opportunities with our partners to a comprehensive training program to address sales skills, system resources and business practices, we are committed to providing you with the tools, resources and support to provide guidance and exceptional service to your customers. As an Public Sector Account Manager at Connection, there are defined territories to afford appropriate coverage to meet the needs of our Public Sector customers. Our Master Data Management resources routinely deploy enhancements to minimize data redundancy to mitigate duplication of efforts. If there is a customer identified outside your portfolio that does not have an assigned Account Manager, you are encouraged to engage your Sales Manager or Sr. Sales Director to address the matter. Thank you for your supportive feedback.

Connection is committed to continuous improvement to sustain long-term growth in our business and talent operations. By working together to identify areas needing improvement and creating solutions to address, we continue to foster an organizational culture that embodies teamwork while achieving results. Our managers inspire employees to achieve their full potential by showing a genuine interest in their progress and investing in their continuous development. With 2,000+ employees either working remotely or in one of 11 brick and mortar offices, it’s critical that Connection utilize various channels to communicate with its employees – our internal social media platform, all-on-board meetings, email and telephonic/ web conferencing tools. Maintaining an open dialogue with employees not only keeps employees informed of developments, but it achieves a mutual understanding that will lend to a unified execution of the objective at hand. We acknowledge the challenge. Know that we are listening and invested in keeping the lines of communication open. Your feedback is valued and your contributions are appreciated.

Establishing goals that are designed to achieve departmental objectives must be realistic and achievable. Formal metrics are not the sole indicator of success, but they do play a role in maintaining momentum. As you’ll attest from the sentiments shared, Marlborough exercises the synergistic power of teamwork to achieve results. Thank you for contributing to the success of our Marlborough team!
