Pros

The people you work with

Cons

The work used to be more meaningful and impactful. Morale is low. Meeting are repetitive for no reason. If there is nothing new to offer, skip having the meeting or make them shorter.

Pros

Coworkers are nice. Newer facilities.

Cons

Management does not care about employees. Core values are not followed. Company run poorly. Favoritism, discrimination, unprofessional conduct are the norm. Turnover is at a high rate due to employees not being valued. HR is totally not there for you when you need them. Bonuses promised, raises promised but they are laughable. This was once a good company with a future, it has become a company employees try to survive only to realize there is no future, no work life balance and poor wages.

Job satisfaction varies from program to program

Pros

Good benefits and PTO. My current supervisors/managers/directors are wonderful and I like my team. I’m one of the lucky ones.

Cons

1. Your job satisfaction really depends on the program you work on. Each team is like it’s own little business within the company. If you’re lucky, you will work on a team with a reasonable client and good company leadership. If you’re unlucky you will work with a client that was promised unrealistic services that are next to impossible to achieve and leadership is left struggling while they try to figure out how to deliver on the contract obligations. These unrealistic demands fall to the Case Managers and Benefit Verification Specialists. This leads to high stress and low morale. It’s actually possible to have a highly motivated team sitting right next to a miserable team. 2. Remote work appears to be coming to an end unless it was specifically stated in your offer letter. I genuinely believe there will be a lot of resignations and those who stay will be overburdened because it seems impossible to find enough qualified candidates to hire.
