Thank you for taking time to provide feedback. I am sorry to hear your experience during the pandemic has not been favorable. As the Chief People Officer, I speak on behalf of myself, our entire HR team, and our broader CONSOR leadership team —our door is open to you. Please reach out so we can better understand where we fell short. We take team member safety and support very seriously. We have programs for remote work, flexible schedules, and employee assistance programs – let’s talk through how we can better support your experience. This year we made significant improvements company-wide to our group benefits package and our ancillary benefits (increased PTO, added a floating holiday, dedicated time for group volunteering, enhanced educational assistance program, and more!). While we’re always striving for improvement, our overall package consistently benchmarks above like sized firms in our industry. We would love to have an open conversation so that we can take more active steps to understand your concerns and review our great programs. We hear you on compensation – the market has shifted significantly over the last few months. Our internal all-employee survey last fall showed we were significantly above benchmark in team member satisfaction with comp. In areas where the industry shifted more than we anticipated going into 2022, we’ve taken intermediate steps to adjust compensation while we finalize our comprehensive market analysis and forecasting and shift to ongoing evaluations. We truly appreciate your feedback. Please help us act on it by reaching out directly.

Pros

I was there for a short internship. While there, I was able to go to several different construction sites and I meet a lot of people. I was the only intern at both sites and each and every engineer took me under their wing and taught me something new and talked to me as an equal. If you are a good worker, they will find a way to put you where you want to go (a different location or different field) if they have the power to do so.

Cons

I didn't have much contact with HR but I can tell that HR is slow at responding.

Thank you so much for sharing your experience interning at CONSOR. Mentorship is a top priority for us and it’s awesome to hear that your managers were both supportive and respectful. We’ll do our best to keep up the great work! As the Chief People Officer, I know better than most how hard our HR team is working. I also know that our plates are sometimes so full that we don’t do the best job at responding as quickly as we’d like. We are actively working to streamline our processes and increase our HR team members to continue improving CONSOR’s employee experience.
