Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback. I'm glad to hear the positives you felt while with us, including work flexibility! It sounds like you were part of one of our teams experiencing peak demand, and while there will always be times of peak demand in our industry, we could have done a better job communicating what we are doing to rebalance the workload. We love that Consor is making an impact in our communities, with more clients relying on us for their transportation and water needs, and we are hiring and distributing workload across other geographies to ease the peak demand some of our teams are experiencing. Work-life balance matters to us. I'd love to hear from you directly to understand better which geography and vertical so we can ensure our workforce planning efforts are tuned into your local experience. My door (and phone line!) are open if you're available.

Pros

There are many engineers who have been working at Consor for more than 10 years. It’s nice to see that people stick around and want to work here. I like the type of work and the complex projects that the company is winning which has given me an opportunity to work on different types of projects. The company allows us to work on projects in different cities which has given me exposure to other staff and clients. I like their increased paternity leave and PTO and WFH schedule which has been great for work-life balance.

Cons

As the company grows, we have gone through a lot of changes with benefits (which most have been good), but it’s hard to keep up with at times. I am not complaining because it's only gotten better.

Thank you for the passion and expertise you bring to your projects and Consor! Team members like you make this such a great place to work. It's wonderful to hear our expanded benefits offerings have been helpful for you, and I agree--it is a lot of information to keep track of! This is valuable feedback for our HR team, and we’ll continue to build out Beacon as a resource. You're right; we are always looking for talented team members to join our offices across the country, and have already hired over 250+ new team members this year and counting! Please feel free to share open positions with anyone in your network who may be interested or pass the referral to our talent acquisition team and take advantage of our referral bonus program! Thank you for taking the time to leave a review! We appreciate you!

Pros

If you want to be a part of building something, working hard and seeing something grow, this is an amazing firm. I've experienced such a positive career trajectory in the last few years at the company. Interesting projects, really good people, local work and trust that leadership is looking out for the best interest of the company.

Cons

There is a lot going on at the firm all the time. Sometimes the little things can cause issues. Corporate changes in HR, IT and especially contracts have been somewhat difficult to work through. Those have been more painful than they should be.
