Pros

- good work life balance as long as you advocate for yourself - in the past, i was able to learn a lot and different technologies - lots of extracurricular activities to participate in - coworkers were friendly. especially in person.

Cons

- easy to feel isolated once working remotely - new acquisition changed the company culture for the worst - new ceo & cto seemed to ignore the concerns of employees - after acquisition it was hard to find opportunities to learn different technologies - merit-based bonuses and pay raises decreased in number after the acquisition

Pros

Met a lot of cool people, made a lot of friends.

Cons

The company has a good product; they're just indecisive. Every department is increasingly on edge, no one can get on the same page, everyone is pointing the finger at someone else, no one takes accountability, Too many good people have left, and their replacements have been unsatisfactory. Morale is at an all-time low and if you get stuck with a manager like the one I had, nothing will ever be done to improve conditions.
