Pros

They took me in after a less than successful start to my sales career, and helped me build a strong foundation to the rest of my career. Very high pay for straightforward work.

Cons

High call volume, and while getting time off approved is easy, the time off structure was aggravating to deal with. It's just about the only thing I do not miss about the job.

Constant Contact's mission to help small businesses succeed is authentic and guides the work that so many do at the company. Colleagues are respectful and supportive of one another as individuals, managers are given the opportunity to recognize and reward hard work, and senior leaders have prioritized learning and development opportunities to help people acquire new skills and grow in their careers. Flexibility and acceptance are core company values truly embraced by all.

Cons

This is a meeting heavy organization which can limit the time you have to get work done and/or coach your team. Siloed planning and mismatched team goals can make priorities unclear, limit available resources, and slow progress on certain types of work.

Pros

- In two years, we have spun out and solidified our own culture, our own business, and stabilized. - The culture is truly solid. The CEO and exec team live our values. - Our business is growing. The leaders and employees being hired are the right people to keep it growing. - The benefits are extremely competitive. The offering is outstanding, and the employee costs are outstanding. They were 33% less than my wife's offering which is something to be proud of.

Cons

- Given the hybrid / remote nature, there isn't as much visibility with senior leaders to build the rapport between employees and execs. This isn't a con, but a realistic challenge that everyone (employees and execs alike) need to be mindful of. - Honestly, there isn't much else.
