Good place bad Leadership

This was prior to 2010...Good place, caring, challenging, you take pride in wearing the color, happy folks, satisfied customers

Cons

Post 2010: New Leadership in IT, Some company from India came to support the Maintenance work in IT, not sure about what we were doing and what they. The new IT Leadership came with lots of idea but did not see a single change in the last 3 years, yes good people are leaving every other week. Since 2010, 60 folks must have left, I left in 2011 and I am glad that I am out of the madness. A very good company but as someone said, headed Autos' way. Time to sell the stock and move on with my life.

Pros

Pay, Benefits, Location, the People. Very generous vacation after the first year, plus you can purchase additional vacation time.

Cons

The first year you don't get much vacation. It's dependent on when you were hired, and then a 3-month probation, and then it's prorated from that point to the end of the year. Ex.: if you're hired in April, you'd only get 2.5 days for the remainder of that year. Also, they phased out the traditional pension for new hires.
