Pros

Meaningful work, coworkers were kind. Benefits and pay were generous.

Cons

Toxic processes, leadership that claims to have your interests at heart while ruining corporate culture. Company promised fully remote work, people moved, then threatened to fire everyone who didn't return to the office. CEO promised no layoffs, and team leaders promised to give warning if any big changes were going to happen with headcount. I was laid off before the end of my parental leave with no warning, no severance or pay for my unused vacation, with all health benefits cut off immediately for my family. I still feel passion for the company and its mission, but can't recommend anyone work under this current leadership.

Pros

Coworkers are great and help each other. Lots of good people. The work is meaningful and lots of learning opportunities are available

Cons

CEO is horrendous. Senior team is not to be trusted. They say one thing and do another. Lies, deceit, amd decisions based on illogical preferences of the CEO vs what actually works. Culture was strong and it’s now gone. Toxic environment where fear and anxiety is what you will live with. “Old school” 1980s style management. Company is on the decline. CEO seems to emulate Elon.

Pros

The pay is pretty good, the parental leave is good, and the 401k benefits too.

Cons

The positives we get in pay and benefit's are in great contrast to the work/life integration we are expected to manage. I say integration because the expectations of some management is work comes first, regardless what the overall company’s expectations are. The career and reward framework that was implemented in 2023 really hosed up future growth opportunities for some of the younger engineers also. Never mind the voluntary separation program in the summer of 2023 that left some departments short of employees.
