Pros

Working with people from different cultures

Cons

Too many meetings that you can’t do your work Area too big for one person to handle and when asking for another person answer is always it’s not in the budget Being given extra duties that’s not in your job description and no extra pay Management is slow to making decisions in a time of urgency Work-life balance doesn’t exist always on call 24/7

Pros

Very diverse for employees, benefits are good

Cons

Forced culture, no career path if you are a US citizen, all upper level jobs given to L1 Visa holders. Assessment centers are held with local people and outside people but management already knows who they will put in new position. Management team preaches one thing and does another. No advancement based on qualifications.

Pros

Flexible work hours, 401k matching, travel to Germany is common, paid to carpool, amazing location right on bluffs with nice ocean view, weekly volleyball group

Cons

Most decisions are made in Germany, it's hard to get information or responses. Work has been largely outsourced to low cost countries, main activities are to track. With all the outsourcing you wonder how long before it's your job. Too many often conflicting processes Frequent reorganizations in Germany Daily Scrum occurs but mostly is talk about what they accomplished and often falls into technical discussions or arguments. Definitely not Agile Work goals are changed frequently when newest manager is in office Many managers are on contracts from Germany - wonder if that's a sign about the place being short term Office has great ocean views, but there aren't enough desks or parking spots
