No Future to respect

Pros

Slightly above competitor pay rates. Come and do as you want- no accountability.

Cons

Leadership team not focused or trained to lead this type of program. Company seriously in debt and have problems paying vendors on time. Maintenance tries to save overhead money by substandard parts or inspection methods. If you are a "by the book" mechanic, DO NOT JOIN THIS PROGRAM. There is no accountability so lots of mistakes happen costing lots of money, very difficult to get fired " good ole boy" program. Less than great medical benefits, no 401k contribution (going broke) no reason to invest time and experience with company. Zero training program in place. Very outdated tooling and equipment, 1940's hangar with all original equipment, wear layers in the winter inadequate heating and lighting, delappadated airplanes for parts scavenging, use what works mentality.

Work anywhere but here!

Pros

There are no pros to working here.

Cons

The entire management team, all the way up to and absolutely including the CEO, is the worst I have ever dealt with. It is run so poorly, and instead of taking a step back and reevaluating their business operations, they added more routes for the crews and planes to fly. You will consistently work every minute of your 14 hour duty day for each day you're on, and with that expect exactly 10 hours of rest. Company morale was at an all time low when I quit. The writing is on the wall!
