Jokers

Pros

"Relaxed" environment if you have good connection with the big guns... not exactly relaxed if you're not in a major project but scatter around small ones that are assigned to you now and then, whether you know or not.

Cons

Like the rest of the pack says, indeed no direction and a bunch of no brainers that keep calling others jokers but indeed they themselves are jokers.

Pros

- After you have survive in this company for about a year, every place is just more easier. - There are many challenges, human or technical, if you are an engineer here. You learn to become a better engineer, especially if you hold junior position in this place. - There are good colleagues here.

Cons

- The company's management is made up with people that are not qualified to be management at all. They basically do not understand what the company is doing, and try to bump in every opportunity without clear and focus vision. - Management generalise the term "Engineer". Meaning that if you are an Engineer, you can write programs, build servers or even launch rockets for them. - Sales only orientated company. It is ok to be Sales orientated, after all it is the revenue that sales brought in that provide staff the payroll. However, this company is exceptional Sales orientated that even Sales is not following the proper regulations and end up over promising to customers.

Tough place to work

Recommend

Business Outlook

Pros

Learning new technologies in a very short window (if you are capable), Master the art of stress management and also work under extreme pressure.

Cons

Poor management and terribly disorganised. You may be required to work in extremely difficult circumstances and put you directly in a troubled situations at customer sites without any prior knowledge about the situation in which you may feel its a "career-ending" project. You will frequently work with sales managers who doesn't even know what they are selling. They may oversell the products and at last it will become the engineer's responsibility to fix it in a tight schedule. Less appreciated most of the time and extremely political. Sometimes top management people even bypass your reporting manager to grab the resources even without consulting them.
