Pros

The medical and dental insurance is really good and they match your 401K up to 4%. You also get an incentive check every three months. They have overtime available for those who want it.

Cons

They can be really strict with talking a lot and attendance. Some employees can act like children, wanting to know everyone's business instead of worrying about themselves.

Pros

Cook is a family-owned company that is wonderful to work for. They take good care of the employees and always strive to do what best for the employees and patients they serve. No layoffs in 50 years. They have always made a profit every year for 50 years. The future is bright for Cook, and they have no plans of changing their family owned, "always do what is right" business model. Company car, cellphone, iPad, office supplies, home internet, and laptop computer, are offered to all in-field sales reps.

Cons

Salaries tend to be lower than other medical device companies, but job stability and added benefits seem to compensate the lower salaries. Because it is a family owned company, there is little hierarchy in the company. Different divisions have few opportunities for advancement unless one is willing to relocate to the home office in Bloomington, IN.

Pros

Company hires some of most unprofessional people for this type of work imaginable. (Pro for those who get hired) No drug testing policy, ever. Not at hire, not on April 20th.

Cons

Pay starts at 9.40 per hour. Will need to keep your food stamps and Medicaid benefits going for this duration of employment. Extremely high turn over rate. Company hires replacements in batches of girls. Eventually Canton won't have any more replacement people available. Very high number of ex-cook employees in town
