Pros
Job security, some very nice people to work with, products help save lives, company behaves pretty ethically in general, company-owned health clinic that provides good care, onsite inexpensive cafeteria with reasonably good food, onsite fitness center. I found the pay to be good for my field in that town.
Cons
Quirky and somewhat dysfunctional and disorganized. Privately-held (family owned) wit the good and bad things that go with that. Whether you enjoy your job will depend very much on what department you're in and who your supervisor and co-workers are – and maybe on what month it is. You might end up loving or hating it.
