Pros

Hire new graduates and give them a chance to excel. Good colleague interaction and promotes socialization among employees to develop better working relationships.

Cons

Pay is way below average. Benefits also below average, required to use vacation or make up time for days the facility is closed. People that create a toxic working environment are simply shifted around to meaningless job positions rather than being dismissed.

Pros

Hourly wage was sufficient, raises were decent, location was ideal, assembly was fairly easy once learned, 401K match was nice, bonuses were decent, incentives, casual dress, cafeteria

Cons

The hours of operations 7-330 was never what you worked, there was nearly ALWAYS 10 Mandatory OT hours, Protocol and assembly could change at the drop of a hat, way too much paperwork, If you don't mind working between the hours of 5-430 for at least 10 hours a day or making it up on Saturday (when available) and giving up your PTO or making those hours up, this job could be for you. I for one got tired of being tired, boring work, a very clique like HS environment, eye strain, carpal tunnel problems, and poor management.

Pros

Decent location; great for families, not so much for the singles, but not bad Great business and competitive opportunities, especially for interns/co-ops Great work-life balance

Cons

Managers tend to make up the rules as they go along. Decent starting PTO, but not when EVERYTHING must come from it (i.e. no personal leave, no real sick leave, no paid maternity leave, no paid FMLA, etc.). For example, if you have to visit your child's school for 2hrs, you must use PTO, or "make up" those hours and that's ridiculous in my opinion. No option to work from home.
