Coram/CVS Health review

Pros

- Benefits are great - many perks and incentives for employees. - Lots of hard-working dedicated employees within the organization. - Opportunity for advancement if you are a driven individual.

Cons

- Since CVS Health acquired Coram in 2014, lots of change has occurred, and they are streamlining Coram into more of a specialty niche, versus an infusion provider focused on acute care patients who are transitioning patients home on infusion from the hospital setting. - Recently laid off almost 3000 Coram employees to support this "re-organization" of structure. - Coram reputation in the community has suffered in recent years, due to the changes.

Pros

Paid mileage and drive time

Cons

Very disorganized, always asking nurses to do crazy driving and ultimately laid off an entire team of nurses.

Pros

Overall, a great place to work. The front line staff care about providing safe patient care and building great teams.

Cons

The senior leaders have unrealistic staffing expectations.
